KEITH SCHARF
MANAGER

Keith joined Connon back in 2006 after moving here from Winnipeg, Manitoba where he spent many years learning all aspects of Garden Centre retail.  With over 10 years in the industry he has built up a good knowledge of nursery stock, water gardening, lawn care and landscape supplies.  Keith’s wide range of experience and expertise helps him fill any role needed & to provide outstanding customer service.
CATHY MORRISON
STORE MANAGER

An award winning gardener, Cathy has been at Connon’s for over 10 years.  She has achieved great knowledge and expertise from being immersed in the industry, and from gardening herself.  Cathy’s own garden is an oasis displaying her creativity and love of plants.

 
MIKE COLLINS
SALES SUPERVISOR

After 32 years with British Airways, Mike retired from his position as Cabin Service Director.  For over 20 years, Mike has toiled in his own large English country garden, and when not in the garden he is an avid reader of all things garden related. In addition to his experience delivering a high standard of service, Mike brings to Connon’s his great knowledge of horticulture.

 
VALERIE KRISTJANSON
HARD GOODS PURCHASING & MARKETING ASSISTANT

Valerie has been in the industry for almost 20 years, and at Connon’s for over 10 years.  A graduate of the Landscape Technician program at Humber College, her background is design based.  This is evident in Valerie’s own landscape where simplicity reigns.  At Connon’s her experience is essential in the purchasing and merchandising of garden products.
LINDA LOBERT
ANNUAL & PERENNIAL PURCHASING

Born into the industry, Linda’s education in plants began at a young age.  Fulfilling multiple positions at Connon’s over the years, Linda’s experience and knowledge is currently evident in the Annual and Perennial departments.  Quick to recognize quality plants, Linda keeps these departments stocked with plants that will beautify any garden or landscape.

A long time employee of Connon’s, Ahmad is a very familiar face to many.  Educated abroad, Ahmad’s knowledge and expertise enables him to assist in many areas of the nursery, especially fruit trees and roses.

DICK WESOLOWSKI
WATER GARDENING & NURSERY SALES

Dick is a graduate of University of North Carolina with a Bsc. in Chemistry & Geography.  He brings over 35 years gardening experience in perennials & shrubs.  He’s currently our pond department expert, having been involved with numerous pond construction projects in the area.  With his former teaching background, he welcomes assisting customers with their gardening and water feature needs.

Chris, who originated from London, England brings many years experience the transportation industry.  As once owner of a small logistics trucking operation he is very much concerned with ensuring good customer relations and supplying efficient shipping/receiving services.
SHELLEY ROY
LANDSCAPE DESIGN

Shelly studied Fine Art at the Ontario College of Art, with a year of study in Italy.  While furthering her education at the University of Toronto, she began working at a local nursery.  This led her to take Landscape Design at Mohawk College.  Shelley’s passion for horticulture and the arts, brings a unique perspective to Landscape Design.
